And I complain that typing English papers once a week is time consuming!

Writing a daily in Urdu calligraphy? Hand writing? Insane, but of course very beautiful!

India, in many ways is the forerunner in the digital world; perhaps not contributing to compelling changes, but embracing technological innovations faster than most nation states; and for the record, the digital world (as it is meant here) isn't just outsourcing; 200 million mobile phone subscribers, outstripping China in PC demand, $40B software & services export ... do I really need to add more links?

I went off topic ... But even with these major strides in technology, some people choose to follow their heart.

Great article at Wired; shows India is still living up the culture.

This literally puts the festival of Holi to shame. It's the new Sony Bravia advert.

Figure this,

70,000 litres of paint, 358 single bottle bombs, 33 sextuple air cluster bombs, 22 Triple hung cluster bombs, 268 mortars, 33 Triple Mortars, 22 Double mortars, 358 meters of weld, 330 meters of steel pipe, 57 km of copper wire

High Resolution @ Sony

Saddam's Currency!

I happen to know this guy in my Unix Programming class, who on the last day of the final exam (May 13th), flaunted a stash of Iraqi dinars.

It just intrigued me too much, but what could I say, he immediately followed his altruistic offerings to Dr. Walker, with economical intent. He intended selling them, I thought he was serious.

Note to self: If you want something, ask for it!

Just the next day, me and the guys on the floor went to Denny's for dinner, and after a highly appetizing meal, as we're about to leave ... I spot the guy (by the way his name is Daniel Filipiak), and I run across to him, instantly asking if I could have a souvenir! And I got it. Woah!

Have a look :-)

Iraq's former currency with Saddam

How does he look ? Do you think they're worth keeping purely for economic reasons ? (Implying he might get back into power!)

God bless children of Iraq

This is the most hilarious thing about Iraq I have come across ... it's a nice website built in my favorite programming language, and it allows you to write messages on the text board.

Here's my one

Read the authors favorite ones, once you goto the website!
